Dumpster diving again? Me?
It’s sad to see a store close, but the upside is that they purge.
Yeah for other people purging!
Whilst taking the trash out the other day in a shopping center, I found this long piece of loveliness in/next to the dumpster. Pro’lly because there is a “shark bite” taken out of the corner…….but I can work with that.
For reference sake, I am 6’2″. So this baby (a sculling oar, btw) is over 12 feet tall. Had to tie the bitch on top of my Jeep.
“Just what the ‘H. E. double hockey sticks’ do you need that for?”, you or Jamie might possibly ask…….or even scream in disgust.
No idea what-so-ever……just, yet.
But it’s Mine, all Mine.
Please don’t call Hoarders.
I promise not to judge, or contact the producers of a certain hoarding program. I know people… Lol! Great find!
Oh, for goodness sakes! Why would you drag that thing home?!
Ok…I ask that seemingly normal question now, but I will most likely be blown away by what becomes of it. The pressure is on…make it into something mah-velous, darling!

I honestly have no idea what to do with it, but how often do you find these things just laying around?
Not worried, love you guys and I know it will be GREAT!

Will it be a curtain rod? A railing? A support to hand a rug on a wall? Can’t wait to see. Maybe you’ll find the whole boat by the dumpster and can hang it from the ceiling!!!
OMG, I could only hope to find an entire boat next!
I love that you dumpster dive!! What a great find, can’t wait to see what you do with this bad boy!!
I have a hard time passing a dumpster and not looking in…
