  1. It looks like you two had a wonderful time in NYC! What an exciting place to be at Christmas. Thanks for the photos and enjoy your memories!

  2. So fun! You both look great. The photos really made me feel like I was there too:) Thank you for taking the time to put this post together.

  3. I am glad that you had such a good time. The next time there is a new building at Harbor Point I think called the Edge. The viewing platform is suspended in space, and you can rapel down “the Edge” and dangle around. It is a shame that there are hardly any Christmas windows now. Lord and Taylor, and B.Altman, are gone. You might see if your university alumni club has any reprocity with any New York Alumni or private clubs. The rooms to rent are nice, and a lot cheaper than a hotel.

  4. I love the after Christmas pics, the best I’ve ever seen! Once again you have captured the moment, I felt I was right there, didn’t you notice me, lol!
The adventure was perfect! A perfect gift to us during the stuck at home…. and my new motto for this year ‘I want to live my life to its fullness!’
You never disappoint, thank you dear friend!

  7. Love these pics. Helicopter ride looks like it’s definitely worth the $$. Might have to book a trip next time I’m there. I also have to say I appreciate that you do email blasts with an old school format, and don’t just post direct to your blog. It makes me feel like I know you and you’re sending me an email update like we are two old friends. Sometimes I just appreciate that (an old fashioned email) .. and miss it ha ha. Take care – Sarah in Harrisburg, PA

  8. I love this! I got to go to New York for Christmas a few years ago and I loved seeing everything decked out for the holidays although it was unseasonably warm so I wouldn’t mind a do over!
