So the past few weeks have been a traveling blur……We both made it home for the holiday weekend to find the almost brand new TV in the den losing the picture and the plumbing backing up into the garage. There is also a huge bite mark taken out of the guest room bed frame….pretty sure we know who is responsible for that. Haven’t been able to do laundry all weekend…or run the dishwasher. The TV is under warranty, so the store is sending a technician thursday. Jamie called American Home Shield friday and someone should be here tomorrow to snake the drains. Speaking of tomorrow….the sprinkler system is scheduled to be installed ( front yard only…until we make more of a decision about the backyard ).
This company also does patios, and the rep suggested a concrete patio for the backyard…..my vision is a walk-out from the den directly onto the deck, Not quite sure if they can build a 3 foot high concrete deck without trashing the backyard and removing a section or two of fence. We will see….
Anyhoo, pretty excited about the sprinkler install. It will be awesome to have a lush, green lawn for a change. So far, there is a chalk line on the side of the house marking the gas line. I will keep y’all posted on the progress….should only take a day……. (holds breath)……should only (sigh)
