About 2 years ago, I was sick of looking at the gas meter on the side of our house.
Who wouldn’t be? It looks like a big silver sore thumb.
Jamie suggested plants. Pampas grass to be exact.
So we headed to the farmer’s market, and bought 3.
Here’s a shot of the corner of the house while we were painting the eaves chocolate-brown about 2 years ago.
Our 3 new Pampas grasses are between the gate and the down spout.
See the gas meter peeking out?
And here’s that same corner this week.
Good luck reading that meter now, Atmos gas company.
(Insert maniacal laugh here)
Mmmmooooo-AAahhhhhhaaaa
That is beautiful & really funny! That’s exactly what I thought ” Good luck reading the meter now” haha
Your house is wearing a boutonnière!
Love that!!!!
Looks great!!! I have that same Ralph Lauren polo in red, everyone always asks if I put the beads on myself thought lol, do you have the same problem?
I think Jamie has this shirt in several colors, and yes, people ask if he did the beads…….he has one where the whole horse is beaded too……
bah! that’s hilarious!!
p.s. what would you boys charge to help me decorate? (we are HOPEFULLY building a house on our farm within the next year and would love some help!!!)
We’d love to offer advice…… How lucky you are to get to customize ….
OMG! I love it! I can just imagine the sound the blades make when the breeze blows.
Sharp, sharp blades BTW…… Had to change the light bulb over them the other day ,
Ha! So cool!
I literally exclaimed HOLY CRAP and then had to scroll up to see how long it took them to grow that big. Wowee.
