Apparently we are those types of gays.
The ones who take their dog to get photos with Santa.
Here’s the shameful, shameful evidence.
“Christmas Card Worthy”, am I right?
You know we are in Texas because Santa’s wearing cowboy boots….and Harley is wearing her “formal” longhorn collar.
Every year in November, The Dog Lofts offer professional pictures with Santa to benefit rescue animals. I think y’all know by now, that Harley Davidson was a rescue.
Don’t think that the above photo was in any way an easy task….
Here’s Jamie trying to wrangle her next to Santa….she wasn’t having anything to do with him.
But then she warmed up……..(after a few treats/bribes)
…and she almost kissed him,
….almost.
That’s our daughter.

Harley looks absolutely darling!!! & jamie, too! We have taken all our dogs to see Santa! We will not take Gibbs and Ziva, because Santa may sayvthey would recieve coal. (&they would eat that, too!) I still remember one year, that it was blatantly obvious, that Santa had way too many holiday beverages, night before, & was still trying to share his Beverages with the dogs! He had a cooler with him on Greenville ave.

I never wanted to be one of “those people” who constantly post pictures of their dogs……but here I am….
This is THE most wonderful photograph. I would be so happy to receive a Christmas card featuring a rescue animal, I have had a small number of them and know what wonderful family members they make and what characters they are. I love Santa’s Texas touch with the boots and Harley looks so dignified, refined and cool. And he obviously was happy the way he is leaning into Santa. love.

That is SO adorable and perfect that, if you hadn’t included the other pics, I would think it was photoshopped. Look at the big grin on your girl’s face!! Very, very cute. And for a good cause, too?! Perfection.
