Before our plumber could do (or Access) anything…….Jamie had to remove the rotted shower floor.
Fun, Fun, Fun….
We settled on Benjamin Franklin Plumbers.
And just like the truck says, He was a “Punctual Plumber”.
Our plumber, and the “Plumber’s Apprentice”, wasted no time getting under the bathroom.
(BTW, those Oakley sunglasses stayed exactly like that on top of his head the entire day. Even when he was crawling through the crawl-space)
That old cast-iron shower drain was the first to go.
And now there is a beautiful PVC one it it’s place.
The water lines, and drain, for the sink were replaced and relocated.
I don’t know about y’all……but we think that this is a mighty beautiful toilet flange.
Mighty Beautiful.
Just moving the water lines for the shower has made the whole bathroom “feel” like it was supposed to all along.
Like a normal average real regular correct bathroom.
Way, More, Much Better…..all around.
And this is just the tip of that ol’ iceberg, Folks….
Stay Tuned
He still has 2 more visits…..
Looking good you guys! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Neither can we Kim!
Plumbing is so much more fun when you can wear sunglasses on your head!
Looks like it’s going to be a wonderful bathroom.
Straight boys! Am I right…..they do the oddest things sometimes….like back into parking spaces.
I cannot wait to see the final results. It will be gorgeous, I am sure!
And colorful too!
While I know this is of interest, and of course, very practical development… Show us something pretty. One does so like pretty things! One might have, for example, found a prettier plumber .
In the meantime, show me something shiny.
I know this is boring, but I feel I must document the process completely…..and slowly…..stay tuned ,
Lots of work but I bet the result will be amazing. I love the “the punctual plumber” on the truck. 🙂
i wondered if you were going to use pex! i’m also curious what you think about ditra shower systems or goofproof showers?
that is one super sexy flange.
LOL!!!! Thanks, I needed that first thing in the morning….
