Some holidays just naturally seem to fit with the style of our house, Christmas more than any of the others.
The khaki walls and red/black accents are just the perfect background for fresh green garlands, vintage ornaments, and buffalo plaid.
I don’t care what the current trends are…..I can never have enough pillows or layered Navajo rugs. Or glass ornaments.
See for yourselves…..
Ok, I can’t keep adding photos…
We’re expecting a house full of family and friends over the next 2 days and I gotta get in the kitchen.
Not worried about decorating though……I think we’re finished.
A Very Merry Christmas to all of Y’all.
(from me, Jamie, and of course Harley Davidson too)
Such a beautiful, tasteful house! Merry Christmas and all the best for a happy and prosperous New Year!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas too, Carolyn.
Looks fabulous as always. Wishing y’all a very Merry Christmas.
Thanks Dee. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas too.
Merry Christmas to y’all! The house looks fantastic. I especially love the wreath above the fireplace.
Thanks Wendy! Merry Christmas back at ya!!
Merry Christmas from West Texas, where we are sitting on the front porch taking in the sunshine!
Your house looks fabulous as always.
Chris
Thanks Chris. It was all sunshine here too……until about an hour ago. Now it’s all thunder storms.
Thank you for letting us tour your home. I didn’t decorate at all this year other than a wreath on the front door. I will just enjoy your decorations instead, they are incredibly wonderful.
Glad we could spread the joy with you Cindy……plenty of decor here to go around.
Gorgeous. I always love your posts.
Thanks Jamee. Hope you had a Very Merry Christmas.
Just love your house! It looks so cozy, warm , inviting , and of course very Christmasy! Have a lovely time with all your friends and family! Take care!🎄🎅🎉
Thanks Kim, Can you believe that it was too warm for a fire this year? Damn global warming….
I love all your decorations, especially your ornament wreath and the tin light holders on the outside garland! Y’all really set the bar high. Merry Christmas!
Those little time reflectors are pretty cool. I have tons…I mean TONS. I need to find a new clover way to use them…maybe on the Rodeo lights over the new deck..hhhhhmmmm
It is beautiful of course, love it all! Merry Christmas to you both and Harley as well!
Merry Christmas back at ya Shae!
Fabulous! I’ve shared your post. Love your lights on the outside of the door. Love the tree and the ornament wreath!
I’m glad that the 2 hardest/time consuming projects are the ones everyone likes the most. Merry Christmas Ann.
Santa just finished putting gifts under the tree and I’m catching up on emails. Opened your post (of course) and I now remember how I came to be a follower of your blog all those months ago: did a search for Chris Radko and voila. Your house looks amazing. Always fun to read about what you two are up to. Merry Christmas!
Yeah, the Radko bug bit me about 20 years ago. Great to connect with others who appreciate his work too.
Your house is at its best at Christmas. Merry Christmas.
How long are the album ledges? I’ve been meaning to make some.

Oh my GOD! I love EVERYTHING! Watch out, gong to pin the CRAP out of your house!
LOL… Thanks so much…Have a great New Year…and Pin away.
Beautiful photos! Merry Christmas to you guys!
Beautiful!!! Thanks for the tour. I want to find out, if possible, where you got those wonderful two black chairs around the little white table that sits in front of the seating bench?
Hi Bernie, those are vintage Cesca chairs designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. They were a gift from a friend years ago. I have 4 total and each has a “Property of the University of Texas” plaque. At one time they had cane seats too but someone updated them with vinyl. Try searching on Craig’s List, or just Google, for originals or reproductions…..they are still popular.
