How cool is this little guy? Aged just perfectly.
VERY vintage Tom Thumb toy cash register….I picked him up for $12. Tom Thumb toys were made by the Western Stamping Co.Inc., in Jackson MI. That’s about all I could find out about him.
He even came with a “Lucky Penny”.

My dad used to work at Western Stamping. We had the cash registers. They also made typewriters. We ended up throwing all that stuff out! ( We had no idea). I recently found a vintage cash register on eBay for $40.00. Damn right I bought it!

I have soo many old toys..I donated a bunch to a friend’s garage sale a few months ago,,,,,but I see that I am headed right back into “collecting/hoarding mode”
