Back to work.
I know, y’all have been begging for some update on the master bathroom remodel.
It’s been almost a year since the demo.
I told you that we weren’t in a rush. There were a few…… set backs, and we’re over them now.
Time to start tiling.
Remember that A-Maz-Ing turquoise tile we picked out in, when was that again? June?

Well, the fiasco with the shower pan is over, and we’re ready to start slapping that stuff up on the walls…
Here goes…
I troweled on a few inches of thin-set mortar…..
….and slapped a few up on the wall.
(with a level, of course)
I think it’s the most beautiful row of turquoise blue 2 inch square tile that I’ve ever seen
(But I may be a little biased)
That blue painter-tape square is the medicine cabinet….more on that to come later.
But how great does this tile look already?
Working a couple hours every now and then, nights and weekends, we finished the sink wall and almost all of the shower stall……
The color seems to change with the small amount of natural light that comes through the window.
And what a difference it makes covering over all the red guard.
I hate to jinx it just yet,
But it looks like we might be back on track after all this time,

Yep! DEFINITELY been missing you guys and wondering what was up with your little reno project! Glad to see you are finally making some REAL progress……thinking we might need to host a housewarming or a christening or SOMETHING when this bad boy is finally wrapped up!!!
