Too bad, because if we had stairs…….there would be some of this rope action going on.

Thanks for posting, Im saving this to show my husband. The stairs going down the the basement does not have a banister, and I like this a lot. Id like to give it more of a western look over the nautical look. Thanks again! I also liked your boats on the ceiling!

Thanks Sunnie, if I ever get a lake house I have those 2 decor ideas. I see the rope looking more western if its dark ……. Also depends on the rest of the room style ( gray cedar walls, Navajo rugs, framed rodeo posters…..and the like )
