  1. Thanks for posting, Im saving this to show my husband. The stairs going down the the basement does not have a banister, and I like this a lot. Id like to give it more of a western look over the nautical look. Thanks again! I also liked your boats on the ceiling!

    • Thanks Sunnie, if I ever get a lake house I have those 2 decor ideas. I see the rope looking more western if its dark ……. Also depends on the rest of the room style ( gray cedar walls, Navajo rugs, framed rodeo posters…..and the like )
