In Feb 2014, Jamie and I tore out our useless master bathroom. If y’all have been patiently waiting for some updates on the remodel, I’m so sorry it’s taken so long. There’s been a few setbacks, and major distractions (like a book deal), but it’s never left our focus.
Besides, I did say that we weren’t in any rush with this project. I did. Scroll back about a year and a half and see for yourselves.
So, here’s where we left y’all off with the tiling part.
And here’s me grouting that lovely sea of turquoise with bright white grout…
The bright white grout really sets off the turquoise tile. As the Property Brothers say in every single freakin’ episode, “It makes it POP!”
This took just slightly longer than I anticipated….but, several, SEVERAL, SEVERAL, nonconsecutive hours later…we have this.
Pretty awesome, right? It’s actually starting to look like a functional bathroom.
We’re just about ready to tile the floor now.
And I haven’t revealed the floor/floors we choose (Over a year ago) yet.
Unfortunately, we have a busy next couple of weeks….but I wanted to prove that we haven’t forgotten. And won’t either…..

I have been doing fabulous things……just in the garage. ….and with plumbing pipe. The past year I’ve been completely focused on “The Book”…and the blog has slid a little, Sorry about that. But I’m back on track now…and November 15, I’ll be a published writer. For Realz. More to come, soon, I promise….(Ohhh, you can already pre-buy on Barnes & Noble.com )

I’ve hinted a few times on social medias….But didn’t want to jinx anything ’till it was done. That’s where I’ve been for about the past year, (Obviously not blogging or working on the bathroom) It hits the shelves November 15….more to come soon, I promise.

It’s all so pretty in person too. I’m glad we choose a color……too bad we won’t have much time to work on the floor for the next month…(I’m only home for 4 days in the next 4 weeks)
